It all started in 1909, when Reidar Corneliussen (born 1884), became a member of Christiania Brevdueforening. Later on he became the secretary in both Norwegian and Scandinavian Racing Pigeon Federations. Also in the sport he did well, winning his majesty the Kings trophy.
Ottars son, Tom (born 1946), entered the pigeon sport at the age of 10 years, and was practically unbeatable in Oslo Brevdueklubb in the 50's and 60's in the tandem with his father. Tom was president of both the Norwegian and Scandinavian Racing Pigeon Federations. Tom is also a national judge, with skills in assessment of racing pigeons.

Reidars son Ottar Fredrik (born 1915) was no less a pigeonfancier than his father. Him also being a secretary in both Norwegian and Scandinavian Racing Pigeon Federations, and copied his father winning his majesty the Kings trophy. Ottar was also a well known judge at pigeon shows and exhibitions
